About Me
Change is an unavoidable part of life. My belief is that with the right tools, we can learn to adapt alongside it rather than be swept away by it. I'm here to help you recognize the patterns that are no longer serving you and build something better in their place. As a clinician, I'm open-minded, empathetic, and hopeful and I'm fully committed to offering you the highest quality of care.
Sarah Strohmayer, MA, LPC, NCC
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Saint Louis, and I've spent my career focused on one thing: helping women reduce their suffering and live fuller lives.
I work specifically with women because I am one, and because I know firsthand how uniquely we move through the world. The pressures, the expectations, the way we're seen and treated; they're real, and they shape us. I want to be in the room with women who are ready to stop just managing and start actually living.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and my Master of Arts in School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri. After graduate school, I spent seven years as a high school counselor, working with teens on academic stress, home life, friendships, relationships, and college planning. During that time I began building my private practice, and in the summer of 2016 I transitioned to private practice full time.
